IP SCENES, Memories From The Surveillance Room is part of an audiovisual experiment project, focuses on the images produced by surveillance devices.
In the cold nights of Buenos Aires city, emerge the loneliness of the geometrical structures and human absences.

While everybody is sleeping, the IP and streaming cameras, are the only ones who watch this moments. An anthropology experiment about the imaginary records of a surveillance room.

In this project I worked with the territory-human relationship in Buenos Aires city and its virtual representation in cyberspace. It tries to establish a dialogue between the streaming images and space and architectural concepts.

I film all over Buenos Aires city during three months, simulating as a surveillance camera. The principal characters are: the urban geometry in its lonely nights, and the surveillance dispositive itself. Different layers of the same watching-surveilling process, coexist in this experimental exercise. It's a reflection and nostalgic approach to the mechanically produced images that remain in a virtual desert.
